We enjoyed an informative meeting on August 4th when Beth Williams joined us to give a brief overview of Concord tourism. Did you know Concord has a Trolley that runs 7 days a week from 9-4 all summer and through November 15th? The best part is that it's FREE! The trolley stops at the Depot on Thoreau St, the Visitor Center, Concord Museum, Meriam's Corner, Orchard House, North Bridge lower lot, North Bridge Visitor Center, and the West Concord Train Station at Club Car Cafe.
We also learned about the walking tours offered daily at 1PM from the Visitor Center. You can also book a private tour for your group by calling the Visitor Center at 978-318-3061. The Visitor Center is open daily April-November plus holiday weeks and year round for private tours, bus tours and special events. Some of the specialty tours  they have had in the past include Indigenous Peoples, African American, Women of Concord, Chocolate Tour and Cemetery Tour.
Beth is very receptive to customizing a tour for groups so give her a call with your ideas or requests! Ice cream Tour anybody?
