SUNRISE CLUB TO SPONSOR VOLUNTEERING AT GAINING GROUND

The Sunrise Satellite of the Rotary Club of Concord is sponsoring an "urban farmers" session at Gaining Ground, 315 Virginia Road, Concord, on Saturday morning August 6 from 9 a.m. until noon and you are invited to participate. This is an opportunity to help at the community's organic farm where crops are raised to distribute to guests at ares food pantries. Kids are invited. The Sunrise group would like to know if you plan to come (but even if you do not sign up, come anyway.) Show up anytime after 9 and stay as long as you can. Wear comfortable clothes and sunblock.
