ROTARY CONGRATULATES MIDDLE SCHOOL ACHIEVERS

On June 19, 2013, Concord Middle School 8th graders held their End of the Year Celebration. The Rotary Club of Concord congratulates all the students, who showed generous enthusiasm for the 19 winners of Rotary Academic Excellence Awards as well as for the winners of the Amy Osgood Upstander Award, the Philip A Jones Award, the Nick Ressler Award and the Morton R. Seavey Award. As Applied Tech teacher Douglas Shattuck said in his presentation to Tech winner Gabrielle Wilson, "For more than 100 years, Rotary International has supported educational programs that foster and encourage individual achievement, initiative, independence, and the entrepreneurial spirit."
