ROTARIANS THANK HOSPITALIZED VETERANS

The Rotary Clubs of Bedford, Concord and Lexington served ice cream sundaes and cake to Veterans, patients at the Bedford VA Hospital on May 27, a beautiful Memorial Day. The event followed a special Memorial Day service held at the chapel. The veterans and their families enjoyed eating out in the sunshine and the Rotarians and Boy Scouts enjoyed thanking the vets for their service in person. This was the second year the Rotarians held this joint service project. Special thanks to Sharon Spaulding and Karla Mansur for coordinating the event and to Rancatore's Ice Cream for bringing the ice cream and fixins.
