RIVERS AND REVOLUTIONS AT SUNRISE

Michael Goodwin, founder of an unique interdisciplinary experience now offered at Concord Carlisle High School, introduced Rotarians and their guests to the program at the Rotary Club of Concord’s Sunrise meeting on May 13. An English teacher at CCHS, Goodwin has been named one of 50 remarkable teachers in a new book, “American Teacher: Heroes in the Classroom” by Katrina Fried. Goodwin was accompanied by team member Art Teacher Tracie Dunn. After hearing Goodwin and Dunn, Rotarians understood why “Rivers and Revolutions” is quickly gaining in popularity among students, parents, and educators alike.
