"We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men." ~Herman Melville

The Rotary Club of Concord has recently partnered with The Walden Street School for Girls, a therapeutic residential program for girls. In this perfect partnership, the Rotarians are providing the eager students with first hand experiences to practice Rotary's motto, "Service Above Self." The students, in turn, are providing the Rotarians with an opportunity to work side by side with the "New Generation," a Rotary avenue of service. The connection has been natural and easy....and promises to be one of the "thousand fibers" that will connect adult and student to each other and to their fellow men and women.

The Rotary Club of Concord meets weekly at the Colonial Inn in Concord, MA. Sunrise Meetings are on Tuesdays at 7:30 am. Luncheon meetings are on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m.
