The Rotary Club of Concord's Annual Thomas R. Huckins Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit the Concord Carlisle Scholarship Fund will be held Monday August 19 at the Concord Country Club. Come at 11 a.m. to register and enjoy lunch and a chance to warm up on the putting green before the 1 p.m. start. Afterward, chat with old and new friends over drinks and dinner. Play in a foursome of your choosing or be assigned to one. Players could win any of a number of prizes, and maybe even have their names engraved on the trophy. Buy Mulligans to improve your score. Make a hole-in-one and win big. Bid on items in the silent auction. Escape work or work a deal on the golf course. For $250 a player, you will get 18 holes of golf at one of New England's premier courses, use of the putting green, golf cart, lunch, clubhouse reception and dinner, tournament gifts and refreshments and most important, help provide scholarships to worthy students who really need your support.
