David McWalter received the Distinguished Service Award from the Rotary Club of Concord on October 28, 2010 at a Rotary luncheon at the Colonial Inn in Concord.
David McWalter received the Distinguished Service Award from the Rotary Club of Concord on October 28, 2010 at a Rotary luncheon at the Colonial Inn in Concord. Henry Dane presented a plaque in recognition of McWalter's outstanding years of service to the Club, the community, his family and humanity. A Rotarian since 1989, David McWalter served as President of the Concord Club in 2000-2001. He was a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a recognition granted for his continuing support of Rotary's international projects. He recently retired from the McWalter-Volunteer Insurance Agency, a company that has served the area for over 100 years. David's wife Grace joined Rotary in 1988 along with Joan Hale to become the first women in the Concord Club. Concord Rotarian Robert McWalter, David's brother, joined other family members, friends, and fellow-Rotarians in honoring David.
