COUNTDOWN TO AUGUST 25 - THE GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Rotary Club of Concord will hold its 26th annual Thomas R. Huckins Memorial Golf Tournament Monday, August 25, 2014 at the Concord Country Club to benefit the Concord Carlisle Scholarship Fund (CCSF).
The shotgun start is scheduled for 1;00 p.m. preceded by registration and lunch from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Cocktails and dinner are at 6:30 p.m. The entry fee of $250 includes 18 holes of golf at one of New England’s premier courses, use of the putting green, golf cart, lunch, clubhouse reception and dinner, tournament gifts and refreshments. Mulligans will be available for purchase. There will be a silent auction and a drawing for top-quality golf gear. Prizes will be awarded for the longest drive and closest to the pin (for men and women). And a prize for a hole-in-one! Read on for registration information. Rotary is passionate about supporting young people, and offers the tournament as a way for golfers and non-golfers to provide scholarship dollars to deserving students. Sponsorships for corporations, local businesses and individuals boost the proceeds, with benefits to both the donors and the students. Major underwriters in a number of categories ranging from $2500 to $250 receive recognition in all promotional materials, tee and green signage and full registration for golfers for the higher levels of sponsorship. Tee and green sponsorships are $225 if paid before August 1, and $250 thereafter
