On Sunday December 7th our club participated in Concord's Annual Tree lighting festivities. We set up our Rotary tent and provided topping for the hot chocolate that Dunkins was giving out. Whipped cream, marshmallow, sprinkles and peppermint free for the asking! The atmosphere was cheerful as people waited for the arrival of Santa on a fire truck. There were lots of fun things happening with refreshments and entertainment, including carolers! The finale was the tree lighting at the circle in the center of town. Did you know that The Rotary Club of Concord donated that tree when the old one had to be replaced?

Rotarians Richard Warren, Jeanne Armocida, Hilary Taylor and Heather Robertson had fun topping off the hot chocolate!
