CLASS ACT 2010

CLASS ACT 2010 The Rotary Club of Concord held its annual Class Act Awards June 3, 2010. The event, held in the cafeteria of Concord Carlisle High School (CCHS) honored seniors in CCHS clubs, sports and organizations who demonstrate community service, integrity, kindness, leadership and civic responsibility. Students and their families enjoyed a Rotarian-prepared cookout and heard an inspirational talk by CCHS 1996 graduate and Iraq/Afghanistan Army veteran Joseph Goodwin. CCHS Principal and Concord Rotarian Peter Badalament presented 72 awardees with a certificate and Rotary Clock. Clubs and sports ranged from Academic Bowl to Student Senate, from Cross Country to Volleyball, from Weather Service to Robotics. Thanks to the many Rotarians who made the evening a success, including event co-chairs Kerry Cronin and John Frankiewicz.
