Announcements:
The Nashoba Valley Club is having a documentary by Razia Jan at the Fenn School, 526 Monument Street tonight from 7-9pm

Program: Steve Kirk led a debriefing on the Oktoberfest event. The club sold 153 tickets on line from 63 individuals. We now have their emails. Steve then played a video that he had put together of the event. Leigh Ann was extremely thankful to Steve Verrill and Verrill Farm for hosting the event and then requested that everyone please fill out the event questionnaire for feedback.
  • She hopes to schedule the event earlier in October next year to try for better weather and maybe having a rain date.
  • They need to set better deadlines, especially for Town permits.
  • We have a whole year to plan ahead for the next one.
  • They could use more trucks.
  • She was happy with the planning committee’s effort, especially with some of our new members stepping up.

Chris Alphen then related a story about the missing stakes and snow fence (thanks FedEx) for the event and how Butler Lumber came thru at the last minute to supply us with the snow fence at no charge, saving the Club over $1,000. Many thanks to Butler Lumber.

Steve Kirk then showed a second video about the Rotary Foundation featuring the Blues Brothers and our own Steve Levitsky. The video highlighted some of the projects in District 7910.

Door Prize: Our Colonial Inn server, James won the door prize of $20 cash.
