MR AND MRS ROTARY RECEIVE AN AWARD!
At the March 31 meeting of the Rotary Club of Concord, Dick and Joan Hale were presented with a Rotary Foundation Award, complete with a crystal medallion and medals. Their contributions to the community and beyond through their work in Rotary surpasses what anyone has been able to document. Dick and Joan Hale are lovingly referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Rotary. Their lives have been intertwined with many charitable and service projects through the Rotary Club of Concord. Avid members, Dick has had perfect attendance for 52 years. He was Past President n 1978-1979 and has been a Director since 1985. In March of 1988 Joan, along with Grace McWalter, were the first women in the Club. Steve Levitsky made the presentation.
