AN EVENING TO HONOR DICK HALE

"Hale Hale, the Gang's All Here!" echoed through the hall at the Concord Rod and Gun Club on Oct. 25 as we sang to welcome our very surprised hero, Dick Hale, at a celebration of his 50 years of perfect attendance and unparalleled dedication to the principles of Rotary. Rotarians and guests, family and friends heard stories of completed projects, persuasive outreach and historic significance from those who had worked side by side with Dick over the years. The biggest surprise was the announcement of the new Richard L. Hale Scholarship to be given to a graduating Concord Carlisle Senior who exemplifies the standards of Rotary International and Richard L. Hale's leadership. Congratulations Dick. Keep up the good work!
